in short, yes the production of aluminium is worse than that of timber, the issue becomes is when it gets used and goes to landfill (check a site bin, its full of timber).

to help lessen our impact, Bracedon is manufactured in NZ from the countries only re-melt smelter using recycled aluminium, meaning the carbon footprint is nearly 8 times better than if extruded from virgin material.
